Stray dogs returned to their owner:
Dogs we've helped owners and other rescues rehome:
Legal cases we have been able to help with:

Dre
Dre was the center of a case in Brighton, CO. He was caught running loose and when animal control claimed he was too aggressive to return to his owner, a court case began. While the owners spent months fighting to get their dog back, Dre was being kept in a small cement indoor dog run with the city. Canine Candor came forward and was granted care, custody and control of Dre by the Judge for the remainder of the proceedings. Dre was able to be happy in a foster home for the remaining weeks of his case and was able to be accurately temperament tested in a more realistic environment. After an outstanding temp test by a well known trainer, the prosecution and defense came to an agreement and Dre, who was once facing euthanasia, was returned home with his family. He was a wonderful, sweet, and well behaved cuddle bug during his time with our rescue and we wish him a long and happy, healthy life!

Scrappy
Scrappy came from a Colorado shelter that was full and she had been there for quite a while and was consistently overlooked.
Now Scrappy is happy in her new home with her new sister who is her "partner in crime". They play all day and Scrappy is so happy!

Ozzy
Previously "Sammy", Ozzy was in the shelter for a while and then with us for a month before he found his great new home. He has kids in his family that he loves and a large yard to play in. His family is doing regular training with him with a trainer so that he can "be all that he can be". What a wonderful success story for Ozzy!
Nina
Nina found herself a great home! Her owner is a college student and she gets to hang out with him all the time! He has already done a lot of work on her training and says she is such a wonderful dog! After two months of being "homeless", we are so happy for Nina!
Sassy
Sassy came from the same shelter as Jackson (see below) on the same day. Today she is with her new family. They are a retired couple who are ready to give Sassy all the attention that such a sweet dog deserves!
Jackson
Jackson was pulled from a county animal shelter after a 2 month stay. He went straight to a foster home. He fit in so well with the family's other dogs and 2 year old son that he is now doing foster-to-adopt and is very happy!
Jackson is also a mascot for a local martial arts school! Congrats buddy!

Dixie
Dixie, after a long couple months of whelping puppies under a tree and raising them in rescue, has finally found a home!
Dixie's new family is originally from Louisiana and felt it was meant to be because of Miss Dixie's name. She is happy in her new home and doing well!

Marley
Malt, now known as Marley, is growing up happy with his new brother dog and living the good life as a happy Fort Collins dog!
Charlie
Charlie, formerly Rocket, is being a good boy at his new home and growing up happy with his human sister!
Diesel
Diesel, one of the two chocolate girls in Dixie's litter, was originally named Tulip. She is doing great with her new Mommy, living as the "only child" and center of attention. She is growing up as a mountain dog in Aspen!
Coco
Our little Dove, renamed Coco, is happy in her new home in Wyoming. She is doing great with training and learning lots of cool new tricks!
Echo
Previously known as Sprout, little miss Echo was from Dixie's litter of six. She is a little ball of love and her new family seems to be just the perfect fit for her. Echo is enjoying her new life with her human sister and canine big brother! Congrats little lady!
Maximus
One of the rescued litter of six, Maximus (who was "Ranger" initially) is living a happy life with his new family! He has one canine sister and a human brother and sister who love him dearly! Max's new family immediately discovered that he has a love for tennis balls which is just like his mother! Good luck little buddy!!
Jax (Jackson)
Jackson came down a long road of neglect and illness before he found his forever home. Luckily, he was adopted practically before he arrived at his first adoption event! Jackson is getting to grow up with two other little boys to be his buddies. We are so happy to see him getting the life he deserves!! He is so happy, look at that face!
Rocko
Rocko came to us at 8 weeks old from a high kill New Mexico shelter. He immediately went into foster care with a family who wanted to adopt a similar dog and thought they'd see how he liked them. Interestingly enough, Rocko came to us as a "shepherd mix". His family did a DNA test, and he is a rottweiler, boxer, staffordshire, keeshond mix!! Never would've guessed that! Rocko's foster family adopted him, but at 6 months old he came back to the rescue and was readopted. He is now happy with his new owner. Spending his days now helping out in a Corvette shop and assisting the coach with little league sports!
Nutella
Initially named Chelsea, Nutella came back into rescue after being returned for having accidents and crying her first night in a crate. Luckily, she found a new home very quickly where she will be loved forever. She is part of a ski team family living in Steamboat and will go with them on their travels, camping and everything. She is so thoroughly loved and responsibly cared for now!
Update from Nutella's family:
Nutella is doing very well. She really likes people and is very calm. One cat is warming up to her the other is still being cranky. She loves to hike, and when she's had enough playing she goes and takes a break under the bed. In fact she loves to sleep under the bed. I have a crate coming for her on Wed. I think she'll do okay with it. She is nervous about getting left behind, and gets upset if she can't see me, but I think with time she will know this is her forever home. We love her so much already.Thank you for everything.

Dizzy
Dizzy came from a local shelter. We pulled him out to give him more time to find that one special person who will truly love him. Dizzy found his person and now lives on some acreage with another small dog named "Izzy" and three older canine siblings as well as some horses and cats. Good luck little "busy Dizzy"!
Abby
Abby came to us emaciated and with worms. Her foster family graciously took her and gave her all the care she needed. In the meantime, they fell completely in love with her and couldn't bare to see her go... so she stayed! She loves her two older canine siblings and is happy as can be!
Roxy
Roxy (adopted out as "Gypsy') came to us with a goal to find a home at our adoption event in Fort Collins and she was successful! This sweet little girl is now living with her new parents and has a greyhound sister and a huge iguana brother. Congrats Roxy!
Chai
Originally named Rocky, this adorable boy came to us with Gypsy. He was fostered by Camp Bow Wow and all the staff loved him, but he quickly found his forever home at our adoption event. Renamed Chai, he is settling in well with his new parents and three feline friends. Soon Chai will begin his training as a seizure dog! What a great future ahead for Chai!

UPDATE 4/25/11
"Attached are a few photos I took of Bear today. He is growing really fast. We installed a doggy door for him on Sunday and it only took two days for him to get the hang of it. Now he is in and out all day long. He is doing really well at going outside to go potty by himself considering he is just a baby. We really can't complain because he is such a well behaved little guy."

4/3/11
Last night went good. He chose to sleep in the bathroom, but he came out a couple of times during the night. He seems to be eating well. He has much more energy today than yesterday, but I am sure he is still getting used to us. We decided to name him Bear. He is like a little teddy bear.
The adoption process was very easy and we have you to thank for that. You made it very convenient for us.

"Bear is settling in well. He has pretty much taken over the house and the back yard, so I think he knows he is home. He is a very precious little puppy and we are so happy to have him."
